K'Nesha Howard - A born star!

K’Nesha was raised in Moreno Valley, CA given the birth name, Kenisha Chanel Howard. She grew up with both parents having instilled strong religious and family values. Watching her siblings and cousins involved in the entertainment business, at age 5, K’Nesha begged to get on stage and performed for the very first time. She enjoyed the crowd and said, “If I don’t perform today nobody gets to perform”. Whenever the opportunity came for her to perform such as school, family gatherings and community events, K’Nesha was there.

At age 9 her parents bought her a piano and she began private piano lessons. She would write jingles and entertain the family. One day, at 12 years old, K’Nesha started writing her own songs. Her father was so impressed that he called up a friend producer and had him record her. Excited and fascinated by her own music she continued writing songs and recording them. K’Nesha then started to take dance and vocal lessons to improve her love of performing. Seeing how K’Nesha was serious about her singing and performances, her family decided to take her to another level which involved a major decision.

At the age of 15, K’Nesha left California leaving behind all her family and friends to pursue her career. Moving to Georgia in 2005, her father gave her everything she needed at hand, her own studio with the aid of her brother, Kenny, (then age 17) becoming her producer. He took to the new studio like K’Nesha takes to the microphone. Along with writing and recording her own original songs, she continued performing in various showcases including winning 1st Place in Gospel Artist Canton Jones Talent Competition. K’Nesha worked with professional Choreographer/Talent Developer GeeGee Ibarra, in Atlanta, GA who took her stage performance to the next level while living in Georgia. Now that K’Nesha is back at home in California, she continues to work on her craft working with a highly accomplished vocal coach Ollie Rasbury and is consistently writing and recording in the studio with her brother Kenny striving for longevity as an artist. She is very well-rounded and takes her career very seriously, knowing that hard work is the key to success.
