Recording Artists (R&B, Hip Hop/Rap, Jazz, Gospel, Pop, Alternative)
All recording artists MUST HAVE access to a webcam with sound and built in mic if you are not in the Metro Atlanta area. An in-person consultation is preferred if you are in the Atlanta area. Remember it is important for us to see the entire package upon initial consultation so that we can give you honest constructive criticism and determine strengths and weaknesses overall.
Please have up to 2-3 original songs available to play. If you are still in the beginning phases and have no original material at the time, please be prepared to sing up to (2) cover tracks. One should be an up to mid tempo and the other a ballad. If you are a rapper and do not have original material, please be prepared to freestyle at least up to 16 bars. Evaluation of range, delivery, lyrical content, and overall sound will be critiqued. A short interview will also be done to evaluate etiquette flaws (if any) and to determine strength of confidence, poise, attitude, and professionalism. If you have any footage shows, interviews, or studio sessions, please have those URLS ready so that if requested they are immediately available.
